Three times in the row the day time female bartender charged me for dinner instead of lunch special. The last two times I did not notice and paid. I caught it today and she said that the charges were correct. I had to ask her why does it say 9.99 in the menu then? Then she says hold on and she will be right back. Came back with a more correct bill. Food was good but the whole experience dining here would be much better if there were better customer service.

Great service and food. The waitress did a great job. The steaks were tender. Restaraunt very clean and updated from the precious reviews. I do miss having the peanuts on the table. The bread wasn't that good. Our family will definitely be back.

Although the decor hasn't changed since Columbus sailed to the America's, the food has certainly improved since the last time I was here. The baked potato soup was wonderful and the salad was cold as usual.

We had a very poor dining experience here. The mashed potatoes had an odd sour taste to it, the steak was not cooked the right temperature, and the bread tasted old and dry. I am also disappointed that most of their steaks come with bacon wrapped around it and they didn't actually give me one without it when I requested so. The service was also lackluster :(.

WARNING! Do not eat here! We used to eat here often and it was pretty good. Today we stopped in for an early lunch before a road trip. We got there about 11:20. The first thing I noticed was the bathroom was not clean and in disrepair. Next when I returned to our table I noticed ceiling tiles that had water damage and even mold, yes MOLD! The bread was hard and the salads were not fresh. Lettuce had brown spots. My steak tasted ok but I ordered medium and it came out beyond well done.

Sitting here at this restaurant that we made reservations for 3 hours ahead of time. When we arrived we had to wait for 30 min to be seated. When the waitress arrived she offered to give us 2 sampler platters right off which now that we have been here over 2 hours we realize that it's because there is NO decent service. We all ordered steak products and are familiar with cooking....steaks do not take this long. We had to order 2 bottles of wine due to the order taking so long to be filled. The restaurant is very empty there is no.crowds of people here even on a Saturday night!!! We would have loved to order dessert we may still be sitting come breakfast so we will pass. The food quality wasn't even worth the wait. Our drinks were not filled we had to wait repeatedly even for water to be brought to the table. We are sitting here stilllll waiting on them to come collect our payment. We will never visit this restaurant again. Horrible service.

Terrible service. We had to wait an hour and a half before getting our food. Then when we finally received it, our food was cold! We won't be making a trip back here again!

Order drinks and appetizers first. Then ordered meals approx 5 mins later. Including a kids meal. Kids meal came out 5 mins before app. Then yhe app came. 45 mins later steak showed up grossly undercooked. Sent back and came back charred and tasteless. Sadly the manager didn't not seem suprised and we witnessed her comp items on everyone around us tickets. Will not be returning.

Went mid Sunday afternoon. There were 10 tables so not very busy. We ordered the filet --medium--and the ribeye--medium rare with salad, blue cheese dressing. One of us thought the dressing was good and I thought it was average. The filet was nicely cooked and melted in her mouth. My ribeye was tough and too chewy. The waitperson was okay and did her job however was not overly friendly .

I made the mistake of coming here with my wife and child for an anniversary meal. Everything seemed okay until we received our food, which was not cooked as ordered. My wife's steak was bloody, but she asked for well done. I noticed our waiter not washing his hands after he peed in the bathroom beside me, in urinals that were by the way filled up with ice. Classy. There were maybe 8 patrons and 12 employees total..Most standing around texting instead of cleaning their nasty bathrooms 1000 island dressing tasted horrible. Diluted, off brand and rancid.. It took them 15 minutes to bring condiments that were ordered to be on the hamburger. The food was cold when we finally got it right. They took my wife's steak back and roasted it far beyond well done.

For a chain, this is probably the worst Lone Star Steakhouse I have ever eaten at. Horrible decorations, bad food, and way over priced. Never again.

Momma always said if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. I pondered whether to even write this review because I am generally pretty understanding. My mom was craving a steak dinner on a Friday night, and after a few of the places we called gave us a wait time of over an hour for a table for 3 we settled on Lone Star since they were only a 15 minute wait. When we were sat our server (who did a fine job) took our orders, and then came by a few times to let us know our order would be out soon. After about the 5th time (45 minutes with a 4 year old feels like an eternity) the food finally came out. My mom's filet didn't look like anything amazing but she seemed fine with it. My burger on the other hand was one of the worst burgers I have ever had. Admittedly a GREAT burger is only found at a few places in town, but this one was worse than anything I had tried. Meat was dry, bread soggy and fell apart when I picked it up, and no flavor. For $11 I want at least a decent burger. Will likely not return unless I have no vote in the matter.

My medium-well steak came out rarer than rare! And the server just walked away. Didn't even offer to fix it. Guess who won't be eating there again???

Hell's Kitchen Does Exist! This place is disgusting and Gordan Ramsey needs to come here. We were traveling from Dallas to Florida straight through (13 hr drive) and decided to stop off for dinner. When we entered we were not greeted with good evening or welcome but "follow me". I went to the restroom and this place looked like it had not been cleaned in ages. The baby station was in the down position and had feces all over it. The floor was wet with what I was assuming was urine around the toilet, Paint peeling off, dust everywhere..Etc Tiles in ceiling of restaurant were all different colors and decor was missing from restaurant so there was empty spaces on walls. This place looked like it was barely hanging on. We contemplated leaving but we decided to stick it out since we were limited on time and tired. The place was very empty there we probably 3 booths filled besides us and the person behind me was complaining about their food. Out of all the tables open they sit us at one with the light bulb out above us. When I asked for the light bulb to be changed they had to take one out of another lamp and the employee got burned. The light bulb was left at our table. Even though there was a total of 8 guests in the restaurant there was 10 employees running around texting goofing off, 3 of these employees were folding silverware. Management is not controlling labor very well because they need to put those employees in the bathroom with some mops and Lysol. Food was actually decent however the whole time I was quite scared I was going to get something from bad hygiene or outdated food. This restaurant is located off the freeway next to a theater and it's hard to understand why at dinner time there was not anyone in this place. After visiting I can understand why.

Lone Star is generally very good, and I have eaten there recurrently since it opened around 1997. Lately, however, the service has been poor. On my last visit, in January 2011, the waitress just "abandoned" us after we got our food, not coming back until about 20 minutes after we finished, so we couldn't get refills or anything else of that nature. Second, even though there were many open tables, we were not seated immediately, even though the table we were eventually seated at had been vacant the entire time we were present. A positive is that the manager seemed to be on top of everything and was working very hard.

Overall, I'll be back, especially since they have all you can eat ribs on Mondays and Tuesdays. My friend and I were going to see a movie at the AMC right there by the steakhouse, and we had some time to kill, so we grabbed some dinner before the show. We got the potato skins to share as an appetizer. They were covered in cheese and bacon. Which only a few dishes cannot be improved by adding. They were good, though they were closer to loaded fried, since they weren't really potato "skins" I ordered a prickly pear margarita. It was awesome, I heard them blending the drink from my table. They are huge and delicious, and they are only $2.99. It is difficult to imagine a better drink. I ordered the Texas Ribeye with a loaded baked potato and the steamed broccoli. I ordered my steak medium, and it was just a hair too rare. I think it was almost medium rare, but the weird part is that there was a part of my steak that almost just rare. I don't know how that happened, but it did. Other than that, it was very flavorful, and I definitely enjoyed it. I didn't even need any steak sauce. My potato was ok, and my broccoli was good. I suppose the best parts of my experience were the margarita and the steak. I can't really comment too much on the service because the waitress was doing her training, so I couldn't reasonable expect her to be completely on the ball. She was good about checking on us, but she seemed nervous and spilled some of my margarita. It wasn't a huge deal, just less than ideal.

This place needs to pack it up! I felt so sorry for the poor waiter! Steak (ordered medium rare) was under cooked so I asked for a little more grill time...it came back burnt!! Shrimp was like frozen Van de Kamps which is unacceptable in south Louisiana! Then manager brings me another steak trying to pass off a sirloin for the burnt filet. I left very frustrated and warmed the people coming in not to waste their time or money. No excuse for this place.
